Media planning is all about making smart, strategic choices. Our president, Jill, recently shared a fantastic Linkedin post about the fundamentals of media planning and the key questions planners should ask when making media selections.
Jill highlights three critical factors in media selection:
Audience – Who does the medium reach?
Cost – What is the cost of placement?
Impact – How engaged is the target audience with this medium?
She also raises an essential question: When should a media planner recommend a media mix in their strategy? While a mix can extend reach and maintain continuity, there are cases where a single medium may be the best approach.
